Artist Statement

My work invites viewers to reflect on their relationship with change in a world moving at relentless speed. By reimagining nostalgic themes in contemporary forms, I highlight the losses we rarely pause to acknowledge and question whether such constant acceleration is inherently good.

 

My current explorations focus on the tension between memory and the rapidly shifting digital age. Overlapping glass panels distort imagery depending on the viewer's perspective, their shifting layers echoing the way memory blurs and transforms over time. Drawing on modern mythologies and epic childhood moments, my practice considers how technology, memory, and perception shape our understanding of both the past and the human condition.

 

At its core, my practice examines the fragile balance between nostalgia and progress. In a time defined by constant change, the work creates space to question how memory, technology, and perception shape our humanity.
